Nol Feldman
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Nol Feldman is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. With a PhD in Special Education and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, he brings a distinctive perspective to mental health, integrating emotional well-being, learning, development, and the environments that shape our experiences.
Meet Nol.
Nol has a particular interest in men's mental health across the lifespan, with an emphasis on emotional identification, expression, and regulation. He recognizes that the expectations placed on males within school, work, family, and social environments can influence how they understand themselves, communicate emotions, and navigate relationships. His work explores how these experiences shape identity, self-esteem, belonging, confidence, and emotional well-being. From school-aged children navigating classroom expectations and peer relationships, to adolescents developing independence, to adult men managing career pressures, fatherhood, relationships, and life transitions, Nol helps clients develop emotional awareness and practical strategies for navigating life's challenges.
Drawing on his educational background, Nol focuses on the relationship between learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing. Through a learning ecology approach, he considers the whole person, exploring how classroom environments, family relationships, learning disabilities, neurodivergence, and social experiences influence development and academic engagement.
Nol also provides parenting psychoeducation and consultation for families raising children with complex learning, developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs. He helps parents better understand their child's individual profile and develop practical home–school recommendations that strengthen relationships, support emotional regulation, and promote learning and confidence.
Nol incorporates mental performance strategies into his work with athletes and individuals navigating competitive environments, focusing on confidence, motivation, resilience, performance anxiety, and emotional regulation under pressure.
Nole's therapeutic approach is person-centred and relationship-based, grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins through genuine connection, trust, and understanding. Drawing from behavioural, emotion-focused, narrative, and social learning approaches, he creates a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to recognize their strengths and grow.
