Job Title: Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
Location: Toronto, ON / Hybrid
Position Type: Part-Time
Reports To: Clinical Director
About Straight Up Health
Straight Up Health is a modern mental health clinic supporting high-functioning individuals and families with evidence-based, practical, and deeply human care. We specialize in working with those who navigate complex personal and professional roles — parents, professionals, and leaders — offering them a space to slow down, reflect, and grow. Our approach is relational, grounded, and built around real-life momentum.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) to join our team and support adult clients who are balancing the demands of work, family, and self. Many of our clients are parents or professionals managing high-pressure careers and busy households. You’ll be helping them make space for themselves — whether they’re navigating burnout, relationship challenges, career transitions, or simply looking for clarity and resilience in their day-to-day life.
This is a great opportunity for a clinician who understands the nuances of corporate life, family systems, and the invisible load many people carry.
What You’ll Do
Provide individual therapy to adult clients through virtual and/or in-person sessions
Support clients with issues like burnout, parenting stress, relationships, perfectionism, boundaries, anxiety, and identity
Maintain clinical documentation that meets CRPO and clinic standards
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and support staff
Participate in optional team consultations, professional development, and knowledge sharing
Deliver care that is warm, practical, and aligned with real-life pressures clients face
Who You Are
A Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) or Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in good standing with their respective college.
Minimum 3 years of post-registration experience
Experienced in working with adult clients who are high-functioning but seeking support navigating stress, performance pressure, or family dynamics
Deeply familiar with workplace culture, corporate dynamics, and the mental toll of “doing it all”
Skilled in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, EFT, psychodynamic, or mindfulness-based therapies
Trauma-informed, emotionally attuned, and grounded in relational care
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a connected, collaborative team
Why Join Us
Competitive compensation with flexible scheduling (fee split)
Hybrid care model: see clients virtually or in our warm and welcoming Toronto clinic
Admin and intake support so you can focus on your clients
Clinical consultation, peer mentorship, and opportunities for ongoing learning
A modern, values-driven practice that prioritizes therapist wellbeing alongside client care
