Meet Julie.

Julie is a registered social worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from York University. Her decade-long career in dance education has fostered a deep appreciation for the mind–body connection and its role in the healing journey—a foundation that continues to shape her therapeutic practice.

Julie works with youth, teens, families, and adults, drawing on approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), mindfulness, and positive psychology. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, ADHD, school avoidance and challenges with emotional regulation. Her practice is holistic, trauma-informed, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family.

At the heart of Julie’s work is a commitment to building safe, meaningful therapeutic relationships. She collaborates with clients to clarify their goals, cultivate resilience, and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and balance.
