Meet Avallon.
Avallon is a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) with over 10 years of experience supporting teens, families, and couples through life’s challenges. She specializes in working with families and teens at home who are navigating communication difficulties and emotional stress.
Avallon takes a warm, collaborative approach and tailors her work to the unique needs of each family member. She integrates DBT-informed skills to help teens and caregivers strengthen emotional regulation, learn how to have healthier communication, and manage conflict. Drawing on her experience from working in high-conflict settings, she also offers practical strategies to reduce tension and support more effective interactions. Avallon works to create a space where clients feel heard, and equipped with tools they can use both for their own emotional wellness, and in their close relationships.
Through her work in school settings, Avallon has a strong understanding of the pressures families face, including competing demands and heightened stress leading to relational strain. Avallon supports families in building stronger connections, deepening understanding of one another, and navigating difficult moments with greater confidence and ease.
