Faisa provides individual and family therapy to teens and adults presenting with a variety of mental health concerns. She specializes in supporting clients experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting, and perinatal mental health. Her areas of specialty also include helping clients who experience relationship challenges and difficulty adjusting to life transitions.

 

Meet Faisa.

For over a decade, Faisa has worked in community-based, hospital, and academic settings providing mental health services to individuals and families. She is an EMDR-trained therapist who also integrates skills and concepts from different modalities, including psychodynamic, interpersonal, and cognitive-behavioural therapies. Faisa’s practice is focused on developing a therapeutic rapport while engaging clients in trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy. She offers a non-judgmental and collaborative space for clients to explore their presenting concerns and reconnect with their strengths.
