Jamie Young

Jamie Young, MSW RSW

Registered Social Worker

Jamie works with children, youth, young adults, and their caregivers to support them through a variety of emotional and relational challenges.

Meet Jamie.

She specializes in helping children and youth develop coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, and strengthen peer and family relationships. Jamie has experience working with children and youth who have experienced trauma and understands the impact that this can have on the individual, their behaviour, and their relationships. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and comfortable therapeutic environment and values the importance of going at the client’s own pace.

Jamie draws on various attachment-centered, play-based, trauma-focused, and cognitive behavioural modalities. She offers a creative approach when working with younger clients in order to connect and allow a safe place for expression and exploration. Jamie is dedicated to empowering her clients and helping them work toward positive personal change.
