Claire Lewis (MSW)
Registered Social Worker
Claire has a Master of Social Work. She works with young people and adults. She has previously worked as a Clinical Team Lead in community mental health.
Meet Claire.
Claire works with young adults and adults to support them through experiences of trauma, low self-esteem, self-doubt, relationship challenges, anxiety and depression. Using a relational and trauma-informed approach, Claire offers a therapeutic relationship that individuals can rely on to support, inspire, and guide them. She creates a space where people can feel grounded and safe enough to explore and process their experiences at a pace that feels right for them. Her work often includes supporting individuals in doing trauma processing—helping them move beyond survival and toward healing leading to a renewed sense of connection to self.
Claire believes that seeking support is both a courageous and vulnerable act. She holds a deep respect for the resilience each person brings and believes that everyone can move toward their most authentic and empowered self when they feel deeply seen, heard, and understood. She brings an empathic, strengths-based, and curious presence to her work, collaborating with each individual to understand their unique needs and guide them toward lasting and meaningful change.
Claire brings over six years of clinical social work experience and has previously served as a Clinical Team Lead in the community mental health sector. She draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities including Relational Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), and the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM). Claire’s work is grounded in anti-racist, queer and trans-affirming and anti-oppressive values.
